No. We do not sell fireworks of any kind, so the sparkler is not included and is not available as an add-on. The topper has a moulded socket built into it that holds a standard upright cake-fountain firework, usually sold as an "ice fountain". You can buy these in most supermarkets, party shops and online. Buy the sparkler separately, stand it in the holder, and you are ready.

The socket is designed for a standard upright cake-fountain firework — the short, stubby indoor kind usually sold as an "ice fountain" or "cake fountain candle". It stands in the socket on its own base; it is never spiked into the cake. It is not designed for thin handheld sparklers, which are the wrong shape, sit loose in the holder and are not meant for cakes. If the firework does not stand upright on its own base, it is not the right type.

Yes, if you use an indoor cake fountain made for the job and follow the maker's instructions. That means an upright ice fountain, stood in a holder rather than pushed into buttercream, kept clear of anything flammable, never left alone and never handed to a child. Our toppers exist because balancing a fountain in icing is the part that goes wrong. Light it, watch it, then let it burn out.

Indoor ice fountains are made to be used inside, but they are still fireworks. Read the packet, use them in a room with clear space above the cake, keep them away from decorations, hair, balloons and smoke alarms, and have an adult supervise from start to finish. Never lean over a lit fountain. We do not sell fireworks, so the manufacturer's instructions on the packet always come first.

It depends entirely on the brand and size, so check the packet before you buy — most are designed for a short burn, roughly the length of Happy Birthday. Because we neither make nor sell fireworks, we cannot promise a burn time for any particular product. Buy from a reputable retailer, read the instructions, and do a mental run-through of the moment before you light it.

Supermarkets, party shops, cake-decorating suppliers and the usual online retailers all stock them, often labelled "ice fountain candles" or "cake fountains". Buy the upright type that stands on its own base, rather than thin handheld sparklers. We do not sell them and we will not recommend a specific seller, but any reputable retailer selling indoor cake fountains will sell something that fits the holder.

Please do not. Thin handheld sparklers are not made for cakes, they drop hot sparks and ash, and they will not sit securely in the moulded socket. The holder is sized for a standard upright cake fountain and nothing else. If you would rather use a candle, an ordinary birthday candle is fine — but never force anything into the holder that was not designed to stand upright on its own base.

The warnings in short: not a toy, not edible, keep away from open flame except a standard upright cake fountain used in the moulded socket as intended, adult supervision whenever one is lit, and remove the topper before the cake is served. Yes, on the designs that include personalisation. Type the name, age or date into the personalisation box exactly as you want it to appear, including capital letters, accents and spacing. It is shown back to you on the checkout review screen before you pay, so you get a second look at it. Very long names may need to be printed a little smaller so that they fit the design. If you are unsure whether something will work, email [email protected] before you order and we will tell you honestly.

We print exactly what you type — we do not correct spelling, capitals or punctuation, because we have no way of knowing whether an unusual spelling is a mistake or the whole point. Please read the personalisation box twice before you pay, and check it again on the checkout review screen where we display it back to you. A topper printed with the spelling you gave us is not a fault, so it cannot be returned under the 14-day right to change your mind.

Usually yes, if you tell us quickly — but as a goodwill gesture rather than a legal right, because personalised items are exempt from the right of withdrawal from the moment the order is placed. Everything is made to order, so if your topper has not gone into production we can change the wording. Email [email protected] with your order number and the exact new spelling as soon as you can, with "Change to order" in the subject. Once printing has started we cannot change it, and once dispatched we cannot recall it.

No. The price you see includes the name, age or date on any design that offers personalisation, and nothing is added at checkout for the wording or for a longer name. Prices across the range run from €17.95 to €27.95, charged in euros whichever country you are ordering from. Delivery is a flat €15 per order, tracked, however many toppers you add.

Yes. We will not print text that is hateful, harassing or threatening, or that targets a real person who has not consented, and we will not reproduce brand names, logos or characters we do not have the right to use. Cheeky and sweary birthday wording is fine — that is a good part of our catalogue. If we cannot print something, we email you and offer a change or a full refund.

Treat them as a decoration, not as tableware. Ours are printed in PLA, a plant-based plastic, but 3D-printed surfaces have fine layer lines that can trap residue, so we do not describe them as food safe. Rest the topper on set icing or on a small piece of food-safe wrap, keep it away from hot or greasy areas, remove it before the cake is cut, and never store food in or on it.

No. It is a solid plastic decoration — not icing, wafer or fondant — and it must be lifted off and put aside before the cake is served. Please tell whoever is cutting the cake that it is there, especially at a children's party. It is not a toy, small parts are a choking hazard, so keep toppers away from young children when they are not on the cake.

Most designs are roughly 15 cm wide — about 6 inches — so they sit comfortably on an 8 inch round cake with room to spare, and they also work on a 6 inch cake as a bolder statement. Exact dimensions are listed on each product page, because shapes vary between designs. If you are working to a tight size, check the measurement there first.

Yes — that is rather the point. It is rigid printed plastic rather than card, so it does not go soggy and it does not get thrown out with the paper plates. Wipe it with a damp cloth, let it dry and keep it. Do not put it in the dishwasher or microwave, and keep it away from direct heat.

Most designs come in ten filament colours, four of which are rainbow blends that shift colour as the print rises. A few designs are made in a single finish, because that is how the design works best. The colours available for a particular topper are always listed on its product page, so check there before you order.

PLA filament — a rigid, plant-based plastic derived from corn starch — printed layer by layer on our own machines in Spain and then sanded and finished by hand. Most designs come in ten colours, four of them rainbow blends. Because each one is printed rather than cut from sheet acrylic, the designs are genuinely three-dimensional, with real depth and a moulded sparkler holder built in.

Most people simply stand it on top once the cake is iced and the icing has set. Place it gently on a firm area of icing, or on a small piece of food-safe wrap or a thin board if the cake is very soft, and press only as much as it needs to stay put. Position it before the fountain goes in, not after, and remove it before cutting.

Not at present. We have paused deliveries to the United Kingdom, and UK addresses cannot be selected at checkout, so a UK order cannot be placed. We hope to offer UK delivery again in future — if you are in the United Kingdom and would like to be told when we do, email [email protected] and we will let you know.

No. Every topper is made to order in Spain, so there is nothing sitting on a shelf to post the same afternoon. Your order is delivered within 5 to 10 days, making time included, and there is no express option — so please order early for a fixed date, and email us the date if it is tight.

Work backwards from the date. Your topper arrives within 5 to 10 days of ordering, wherever you are in Spain or the rest of the EU, with the making time already included. We suggest ordering at least two weeks before the party, and three weeks in December. If your date is tight, email us before ordering and we will be straight with you.

Spain and the rest of the European Union, all with tracked services shipped from Spain. Delivery is a flat €15 per order, arriving within 5 to 10 days — the details are on our Delivery & Returns page. If your country is not offered at checkout, email [email protected] and ask — we will tell you honestly whether we can get a parcel to you.

Yes, to every destination we ship to. When your parcel leaves the studio we email you a tracking number and a link. Tracking can take a day to start moving, and it often goes quiet while a parcel crosses a border, which is normal. If nothing has updated for five working days, email [email protected] with your order number and we will chase the carrier.

€15 per order, flat, wherever the parcel is going — Spain or the rest of the EU — and always tracked. One topper or five, the delivery charge is the same, and there is no separate faster tier. All prices are in euros for every destination, and the exact cost for your address is shown before you pay.

You can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are handled by SumUp, a licensed payment provider, on their own secure systems. Your card number is never seen or stored by us — we only receive confirmation that the payment succeeded, plus the card type and last digits for our records. Nothing is charged until you confirm the order at checkout.

Euros, for every destination we deliver to. Prices are shown in EUR on the site and your card is charged in EUR. If your bank account is in another currency, your bank converts at its own rate and may add a conversion fee, so the amount on your statement can differ slightly from the euro total shown at checkout. Apple Pay and Google Pay work exactly the same way.

Yes, at every step. The basket can be edited, and the checkout review screen shows the items, the colour, your personalisation text exactly as it will be printed, the delivery address, the delivery method, any tax and the total — all of it editable from that screen before you press the button. Afterwards we email you a full order confirmation with every one of those details. Keep that email: it is your copy of the contract, because we do not store the contract text in a form you can retrieve from us later. Contracts can be concluded in English, Spanish, German or French.

Not under the usual 14-day right, no. Anything printed with a name, age or date is made to your specification, and EU consumer law exempts personalised goods from the right of withdrawal — from the moment the order is placed, not from when printing starts. That said, if an item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, we will always replace or refund it, and if we have not started making it we will usually change or cancel it as a goodwill gesture if you email quickly. Your legal rights are unaffected.

Email [email protected] with your order number and photographs of the item and the packaging. Please write as soon as you reasonably can, while everything is still to hand, but there is no deadline — your statutory rights run for three years from delivery in Spain, with no notification deadline. We will remake and resend it, or refund you in full including the delivery you paid — whichever you prefer. We will not ask you to post a broken topper back at your own cost. This applies to personalised items too; the exception never covers our mistakes.

Tell us within 14 days of delivery that you are cancelling, by email to [email protected] with your order number — or copy the model withdrawal form printed in our Terms & Conditions into that email if you prefer. Then send the item back unused within 14 days of telling us, in its original packaging if you still have it, though packaging is not a condition of your refund. Return postage is yours to pay. We refund within 14 days of the item reaching us, to the same payment method — and if you cancel the whole order, that includes the €15 delivery charge, as EU rules require. On a partial return the delivery charge is not refunded, and we may make a proportionate deduction if the item comes back with more handling than it needed.

Yes, and we are happy to talk. Email [email protected] with what you want, how many, the date you need them and any wording, and we will tell you whether it is realistic and what the lead time would be. This is a one-person studio, so large runs need far more notice than a single topper — but multiples of one design are very doable.
