Wedding, Engagement and Proposal Cake Toppers
Four wedding cake toppers covering the whole run from the question to the wedding breakfast: a "Will You Marry Me?" proposal topper, the "Bride To Be" design for the hen do, a Mr & Mrs bride and groom holding hands inside a heart-shaped laurel wreath, and a personalised topper carrying both your names and the date. Each is 3D printed to order in Spain, around 15 cm wide, and each has a socket moulded into the base for a standard ice-fountain sparkler — the indoor cake fountain, not a handheld sparkler. None of them is edible. They come off before the cake is cut and, unlike a card topper, they are still around on the anniversary.

Check the venue before you buy a fountain
This is the most common mistake with a wedding cake fountain and it is worth a two-minute email. A great many venues — hotels with sprinkler systems, listed buildings, barns, marquees — do not permit indoor pyrotechnics at all, and some that do want notice and a member of staff standing by. Ask the coordinator specifically about "indoor ice fountains on the cake", not "sparklers", because the answer for handheld sparklers outdoors is usually a different answer entirely.
If it is a no, order the topper anyway. It stands perfectly well on its own and it is a better object than the flat disc it replaces. If it is a yes, buy the fountain locally — we do not supply it — and hand it to whoever is running the cake cutting rather than leaving it in a bag under the top table.
Cake size, tiers and the cutting photograph
At roughly 15 cm wide these sit on the top tier of a tiered cake or centrally on a single tier from 7 inches upwards. They are wider than they are tall, which flatters the cutting photograph: your faces are not competing with a spire. Position it so the fountain socket has clear air above — no floral arch, no draped fabric, no low pendant lighting.
Order early. Your topper is made to order and delivered, tracked, within five to ten days, but wedding stationery lives on a longer timetable than that. Have the personalised topper made a month or two out, check the spelling of both names and the date format the moment it arrives, and then put it somewhere safer than the box everything else is in.

Can I have our names and wedding date on the cake topper?
Yes. The personalised wedding topper takes two names and the date, set into the design rather than stuck on afterwards. Type the date in the format you want to see, because we print exactly what you enter. It also works as an anniversary keepsake, which is why couples usually choose it over the plain Mr & Mrs.
Is the ice fountain included with a wedding cake topper?
No. The holder is built into the base, but the fountain itself is bought separately from a supermarket, party shop or firework retailer. We print decorations and are not licensed to sell or post pyrotechnics. Check with your venue before buying one, because many venues do not permit indoor fountains.
Will it work on a small or single-tier wedding cake?
It suits anything from about 7 inches upwards, sitting centrally. On a two- or three-tier cake it goes on the top tier. Below 6 inches it will overhang the edge, which is fine if you like the look and less so if the cake is displayed against a wall or in a tight alcove.
Can we use one for an engagement party instead?
That is exactly what the "Will You Marry Me?" and "Bride To Be" designs are for, and the Mr & Mrs topper gets bought for engagement parties too. None of them is dated unless you choose the personalised design, so nothing stops the same topper appearing at more than one celebration.
Is it edible or food safe?
Neither. It is 3D-printed PLA that rests on the icing and lifts off before the cake is cut, the same way a ceramic or acrylic topper does. If your icing is very soft, sit it on a thin cake board or a disc of baking paper so it lifts away without taking buttercream with it.
